Primary Responsibilities:Lead site civil engineering design efforts for site civil engineering related to buildings, facilities, and infrastructure projects across diverse market sectors, including:Residential, commercial, and industrial developmentsWater/wastewater systemsMunicipal and federal projectsPower and data center facilitiesServe as the Civil Engineer of Record when required.Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary design teams throughout all project phases—from initial planning through construction documentation and administration.Prepare detailed construction drawings, technical specifications, engineering calculations and reports.Manage permitting processes with federal, state, and local agenciesReview shop drawings and provide support during the construction phase.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited university.Minimum of 4 years of experience in site civil/land development design for buildings or infrastructure, including:DemolitionErosion controlSite layoutStormwater managementGrading and drainageUtility designProficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, ICPR/Stormwise, WaterCAD, and StormCAD.Ability to work independently and collaboratively within fast-paced, multidisciplinary teams.Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneouslyHighly organized, self-motivated, and proactive, with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality, technically sound designs with minimal supervision.Experience serving as Engineer of Record on previous projects.Proposal writing experienceProject management experiencePrior experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.Preference given to local candidates.#LI-HO1QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor's degreePrevious experience in general civil engineeringRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered.
