Position Overview

Renaissance Recovery Florida is an outpatient behavioral health facility in Lantana, FL, providing Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) services for individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions.

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically skilled Primary Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate has experience working in addiction treatment, a strong understanding of the 12-Step model, family systems, psychodynamic therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Experience documenting in an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) is required. Clinical supervision is available for associate-level clinicians.

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy and facilitate psychoeducational and process groups.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic impressions using current DSM criteria, treatment plans, and ongoing clinical documentation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on each client's strengths, needs, and recovery goals.
• Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
• Perform crisis intervention, risk assessments, and utilization reviews as needed.
• Present clinical cases and collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Coordinate care with referral sources, outside providers, and community resources.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Maintain all required state licenses, registrations, and certifications.
• Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and staff training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Master's degree in:

• Marriage & Family Therapy
• Social Work
• Mental Health Counseling
• Related Behavioral Health field 
• Minimum of one year of experience in addiction treatment or behavioral health.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Substance use disorders
    • Co-occurring mental health disorders
    • 12-Step recovery
    • CBT
    • DBT
    • Family systems
    • Psychodynamic therapy

Preferred:

• Active Florida license or registered intern status as one of the following:
  • ACSW
  • AMFT
  • APCC
  • LMFT
  • LCSW
  • CAC
  • CAP

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday-Friday
• Day shift: 8am-4pm
