Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist or Operating Room Technician required
• Accepting candidates who are both certified and non-certified Surgical Techs
• Comprehensive understanding of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
• Strong communication skills and ability to function as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing clinical environment
• Current BLS certification preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for upcoming procedures, ensuring all required instruments and supplies are ready and sterile
• Assist surgical staff by passing instruments and anticipating surgeons’ needs during complex cases
• Handle specimens properly and maintain accurate documentation according to best practices
• Practice exceptional infection control and equipment safety protocols at all times
• Help with room turnover and surgical suite preparation for subsequent cases
• Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and anesthesia team to provide seamless patient care
