This position involves a day shift schedule of five 8-hour days, typically from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Weekend coverage is usually required every fourth weekend, dependent on staffing needs, along with weekday coverage as needed. Key Responsibilities\n \n Provide nursing care in the Operating Room setting. \n Participate in call rotation as required by staffing needs. \n Float between like units or sister facilities to meet patient care requirements. \n Qualifications\n \n Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting is required. \n Current SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start. \n Certification in BLS, ACLS, and PALS is required. \n Miscellaneous Information\n \n Open to accommodating block scheduling with prior approval. \n Local candidates within a 60-mile radius are considered on a case-by-case basis. \n All requests for time off must be submitted with the application and will be evaluated based on facility needs. \n The facility is permitted to call off one shift every two weeks. \n Hospital Highlights\n \n Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital \n Total Staffed Beds: 119 \n Surgical scrubs are provided. \n Charting System: Epic \n Free parking is available in designated unrestricted areas. \n Important Note\n Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, which runs from June through November, all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams.
