Warehouse AssociateThe Warehouse Associate is responsible for the shipping, receiving, and storage of all parts and materials sold and inventoried by the company.Specific responsibilities:Pick, pack, and ship orders.Receive stock orders.Coordinate efforts with warehouse management to dispose properly of scrapped parts & maintain documentation.Participate in physical counts of parts and materials on an annual or as directed basis.Assist in determining causes of short- or over-item situations.Operate within all parts policies and procedures of GCC.Operate safely and follow all safety guidelines.Support and participate in the organization's continual improvement program, to conform to ISO 9001 requirements and understand the implications of not conforming with the Quality Management System.Other duties as assigned.Education and TrainingHigh school diploma or GED.Experience in lieu of education will be accepted.Experience:3-5 years of warehousing and distribution experience a plusUPS World Ship and FEDEX manifesting experience a plus.Wireless warehouse environment a plus.Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment a plus.Skills Preferred:Ability to read and work with intricate part numbers and attention to detail.Willingness to be a team player and help out in multiple areas of the warehouse.Good physical skills on equipment and an aptitude for manual work.Warehousing training in a distribution, manufacturing, or dealership environment.Knowledgeable on shipping methods and procedures.Basic PC skills a plus.We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, and 401(k) plans with company match.
