Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System and no current placement allowed at Program: Aya Program - BJC Health System.

Additional Details:

No medical marijuana cards accepted. RNs only - clinicians who obtained an RN degree outside of the U.S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience: - Cardiac drip required. - Sheath pulls required. - Central line management required. - Required high-risk telemetry experience. - Required: post op open heart, sheath pull, new tracheostomy.

Unit Details: - Adult patient population. - Cardiac telemetry unit with high-risk cardiology and mixed medical patients with underlying heart conditions.

Shift & Scheduling: - BJC policy: Every other weekend required. Expectation is to work 6 weekend shifts (Sat or Sun) in a 6 week schedule. - No call. - RTO: No greater than 7 days.

Floating Requirements: - Float to all inpatient units at both campuses, including Memorial Belleville and Memorial East (Shiloh), as needed within competency.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
