Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RBT certification
• Previous experience as a Registered Behavior Technician or Behavior Specialist in a school or clinical setting
• Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Ability to collect data and accurately document student progress
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Compassionate attitude and commitment to helping children reach their potential

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Support students in developing appropriate social, academic, and behavioral skills
• Collect behavior data, monitor progress, and report findings to the supervising BCBA and school staff
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and family members to ensure consistency across learning environments
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to encourage success
• Attend team meetings and participate in ongoing training sessions
