Profile Review ~ If candidate is recommended by clinical team, AM will send over to the unit manager for a phone interview.

DRIVERS LICENSE required at time of submittal!

Unit Notes: CVOR TECH:
# suites: MAIN OR: 7
# of cases per day: 22-45 cases per day total across all three specialties. Take add ons as needed. (Level 3 trauma) No neuro. Inpatient and outpatient cases. 35-40% are add ons.
Certs/Tech certified: Techs: BLS, WA state license, do not require national certification.
EMR: EPIC
Charge Nurse: Charge nurse on every shift covers both Main and CVOR. Resource nurse for CVOR
OR techs - Same experience requirements for techs.
Weekend Requirement - Covered by call time.
Call Requirement: 5-6 call days for techs. Call starts at 9PM and ends 0630 the next morning. Weekends call 1: 12 hour days, call 2: 12 hour nights
What is call response time? 30 min
Holidays: Covered by rotation.
Scrub Color/ Provided: Provided
Tele/Surgeon on call hours: ON call after hours.
RT: 24/7
Pharmacy: 24/7
Shifts: Monday through Friday: 8's, 10's and 12's. Varied start times, contract dependent.
Floating: CVOR could float to Main, Main OR nurses could for vascular cases if they have experience.
Floor specific orientation: 1 week.
Common types of cases: general sx, bowel resection, 2 robot rooms stay pretty busy, Gyn, Urology, Turp, cystoscopy, lithotripsy, Dental has their own techs. Very rarely eyes, Ortho has their own rooms so no ortho main OR. Some bariatrics, and plastics.

Additional Notes: Housing can be difficult. Will work with block scheduling.
