Job Summary

Mohawk Valley Health System (MVHS) is currently seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider to join our Urology team. This full-time, hospital-employed position is based in a structured inpatient setting and offers the opportunity to provide high quality care to our patients in need. The APP will work closely with our experienced urologist and hospital staff to manage consults and care coordination, while participating in daily rounding. This opportunity provides a collegial work environment, strong clinical support, and the ability to make a meaningful impact on patients in our community.

Education/Experience Requirements

REQUIRED:

• Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner's Program OR certification from an accredited NP program OR completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program required.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.

• Ability to meet and maintain credentialing requirements and hospital priviledges.

• Knowledge and competency in a wide range of clinical areas.

• Familiar with EHR/EMR software.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

REQUIRED:

• Current NYS Nurse Practitioner licenses OR Current NYS license as a Physician Assistant with prescription privileges.

• Current BCLS, ACLS certifications.

PREFERRED:

• Active ANCC certification in relevant specialty
