Primary Duties Execute precise MIG and TIG welding tasks on diverse metal types to ensure all work meets exact project standards. Analyze technical drawings, welding symbols, and blueprints to accurately identify necessary project specifications. Manage the operation and setup of welding machinery while keeping your immediate work area tidy and efficient. Evaluate completed components for precision and quality, performing necessary modifications to ensure excellence. Work alongside colleagues to help the team achieve production targets and hit project milestones. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by strictly adhering to all established safety protocols. Engage in continuous professional development to refine your technical welding expertise. Required Qualifications Completion of high school or a GED, with preference given to those possessing extra technical welding education. Demonstrated history of success in MIG/TIG welding, supported by a solid track record of finished work. Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings and blueprints. Meticulous focus on detail and a dedication to delivering superior craftsmanship. Strong analytical abilities that allow you to solve problems effectively whether working solo or with others. Comprehensive understanding of standard safety procedures and practices within a welding shop. Possession of relevant welding certifications is considered an advantage. This position requires travel to various customer locations and project sites, meaning you will be based within a commutable distance of the area.
