Work Shift Night (United States of America) Responsibilities Medication administration and implementation of respiratory care based on expanded knowledge and the evaluate‑and‑treat process. Provide care primarily in critical‑care areas with protocol ventilator management, exercising significant independent decision‑making and self‑direction. Deliver patient, family/support system education and coordinate activities to support clinical and developmental, psychosocial, and educational needs. Provide customer service, foster a supportive environment for students and staff, and promote quality patient care. Collaborate with healthcare team members in planning patient care and verify orders, including aerosolized medication, bronchial hygiene, volume expansion, and oxygen medical gas therapy. Perform arterial blood gas sampling and assist in invasive and non‑invasive procedures, cardiac service procedures, and pulmonary diagnostic testing. Promote performance‑improvement initiatives designed to enhance quality care. Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist. Respiratory Care or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy – preferred. 0–2 years of clinical experience with a minimum of six months in critical care. Strong communication, critical‑thinking, and interpersonal skills, with ability to establish and maintain working relationships with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Computer skills, including familiarity with databases. Excellent customer‑relation, assessment, and communication skills.
