For more than 15 years, we have built a reputation for exceptional service, quality products, and a workplace culture that values teamwork, integrity, and growth.As our business continues to expand, we are seeking dependable and motivated Warehouse Associates to join our team at our Louisa, Virginia facility.Position OverviewThis position is available on our 3rd shift and may be offered as either full-time or part-time. Warehouse Associates play a vital role in ensuring the accurate receiving, storage, selection, and loading of products for customer delivery. This role operates in a refrigerated warehouse environment and requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to workplace safety.Schedule: Monday through Saturday operation (no Saturday night shifts). Specific schedules may vary based on business needs.Key ResponsibilitiesReceive, inspect, and store inventory according to company procedures and food safety standards.Accurately pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders for shipment.Assess incoming produce and inventory for quality and damage.Load delivery trucks to ensure routes are prepared efficiently and accurately.Maintain organized warehouse inventory and storage areas.Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.Load, unload, and move products manually or with warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.Minimize product damage and inventory loss through careful handling and attention to detail.Assist with general warehouse operations as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment environment preferred.Ability to work overnight shifts, up to six days per week as required.Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and verbal comprehension.Ability to work for extended periods in a refrigerated environment (34°F–55°F).Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly and performing physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, reaching, and standing for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliability.Experience handling fresh produce is a plus.Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening upon offer of employment.BenefitsCavalier Produce offers a competitive benefits package for eligible employees, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)401(k) Plan with Company MatchPaid Time Off (PTO)Four Paid HolidaysLife InsuranceDisability InsuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Employee Discount ProgramReferral Bonus ProgramAdditional voluntary benefitsWhy Join Cavalier Produce?At Cavalier Produce, you'll become part of a growing company that values hard work, teamwork, and professional development.
