Job Title Women’s Director Campus or Global Spring Branch Ministry Women’s Ministry Travel Required +/-10% Reporting To Lead Campus Pastor Position Type Full Time/Part Time Mission and Vision The women’s ministry of Bayou City Fellowship Spring Branch exists to create an intergenerational group of women who gather together to grow and go in Jesus’ name. Gather : fellowship, worship, foster community that will facilitate discipling and mentoring relationships Go : Service, mission-minded, recognizing and committed to their calling to do the work the Lord has created them to do in every season and circumstance of their lives Overview The Women’s Director role is structured in one of two ways. It may be a full-time position that includes both shepherding/discipleship responsibilities and administrative duties. Alternatively, it may be offered as two part-time roles with responsibilities focused on either shepherding/discipleship or administration, depending on the candidate’s availability. This role operates under the leadership of the Campus Pastor. Responsibilities Women's Director Responsibilities: (20-30 hours per week) - Shepherding/Discipleship Shepherd and disciple women of all ages and stages of life Teach and apply the Bible and biblical doctrine accurately, clearly, and relevantly. Coordinate programs for women that offer opportunities for discipleship, spiritual growth, and community building Build, lead, equip, and empower volunteer teams to carry out the mission and vision of Bayou City Women Work with existing ministries and structures to equip and mobilize women to be and make disciples of Jesus Initiate and lead the processes of evaluation, change and growth in women's ministry Manage the annual budget for the women's ministry Organize and oversee special events for women Pray regularly for the women of the church and God's direction Women's Director Responsibilities: (10-15 hours per week) - Administrative Provide administrative oversight to the women’s ministry. Coordinate communication and calendaring at the church level by working closely with the Operations Coordinator, Communication Director and Social Media Manager. Understand and help communicate and facilitate the ministry’s vision and goals as well as the ways that the different programs seek to further those goals. Coordinate and manage all materials and supplies needed for women’s ministry events, including planning, purchasing, organizing, and ensuring proper setup. Provide ongoing support to volunteer teams, ensuring that volunteers understand their roles and responsibilities and have the supplies that they need. Work with the Kids’ Team to ensure childcare needs are met for the women’s programs. Help disciple women of all ages and stages of life Pray regularly for the women of the church and God's direction Personal Characteristics Has a heart to serve the Lord and enable the growth of his Kingdom Capacity to relate well to people Ability to build respect and rapport through constructive and effective relationships Passionate about the pursuit of the Great Commission Maintains a personal work ethic that exemplifies integrity, character and accountability A clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ and a vital, growing personal relationship with Him Commitment to the mission, vision, and ministry philosophy of Bayou City Fellowship Commitment to moral purity Humble leader who is teachable and able to develop other leaders Relational, organizational, and technological skills to provide overall leadership for Women’s Ministries Requirements Well-rounded giftedness in teaching, shepherding, and leadership 5+ years of experience leading ministry Demonstrated experience in effective ministry leadership Agreement with Bayou City Fellowship’s Doctrinal Statement and distinctives Desire and ability to make a long-term commitment to Bayou City Fellowship #J-18808-Ljbffr Bayou City Fellowship
