Job Summary Performs supply chain and logistics functions such as material procurement, production planning, inventory control, outsourcing, vendor selection and distribution | Creates integrated processes among internal functions (e.g., operations, purchasing and logistics) and outside suppliers | Responsibilities are within the Supply Chain and Logistics Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines Impact of the Role General ProfileRequires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field Uses advanced techniques, theories, and processes to complete workLeads others to solve complex problems Works independently, with guidance in only the most complex situationsMay lead functional teams or projectsConsistent exercise of discretion & judgment Essential Functions Monitors and expedites the flow of goods, resources, and information required by the supply chain to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs. Coordinates with procurement, production, inventory control, distribution, transportation, and other functions to optimize the supply chain. Identifies bottlenecks or problem areas and escalates or proposes solutions. Works with suppliers to resolve issues. May assist in the negotiation of contracts or service arrangements. Required Qualifications Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience Associate's DegreeCritical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Qualifications Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's DegreeDiscipline/Major: Business, Supply Chain Management or related discipline preferredKnowledge, skills & abilities: Contract Compliance. Data Analysis. Supply Chain Optimization. Supply Chain Planning. Compliance Monitoring. Supply Chain Planning Software. General Data Analysis Software Physical Requirements Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.Requires regular movement throughout GD-OTS facilities.Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Travel Requirements Less than 25% travel likely. Pay Range (USD) $114,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional Compensation Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
