Job Title

Travel RN – Progressive Care Neuro Trauma (PCU/Step-Down)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 23-bed Progressive Care Neuro Trauma unit with a 4:1 patient ratio
• Utilize bedside monitoring equipment including end-tidal O2 monitoring, high-flow oxygen, chronic vents, and subdural drains
• Perform and assist with unit procedures including chest tube management and EEG monitoring
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Collaborate with a team of RNs and aides across night shift to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
• Float to all inpatient units including ICU and ED as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Telemetry experience required
• Step-down experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neuro nursing experience strongly preferred
• Trauma nursing experience strongly preferred
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred
