The practice is located in Pueblo or Pueblo West, with an easy commute from Colorado Springs. The optometrist will have excellent support while maintaining clinical freedom and autonomy. The position could also lead to profit sharing and promotion. Relocation bonus negotiable.Job Expectations:Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect any ocular abnormalitiesDiagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseasesPrescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and other visual aids as neededProvide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing eye surgeriesEducate patients on proper eye care practices and answer any questions or concernsCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient careMaintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic medical record systemsStay up-to-date with advancements in optometry practices and technologiesRequirements:Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited US optometry schoolValid state license to practice optometry (preferred if already licensed in CO)
