This is a position in which the incumbent directly assists the teaching staff of a school district with various academic and/or classroom related activities. 6.5 hours/day Benefit eligible Pension eligible Wage: $16.50/hr Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, plus EITHER: One (1) year of full-time or its part-time paid or volunteer equivalent experience working in a clerical capacity; OR, One (1) year of full-time or its part-time or volunteer equivalent experience working with children; OR, Possession of a certificate of completion of a course of Child Care through an occupational school, The American Red Cross or similar agency; OR, A combination of experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B) and (C) above. *This is a non-competitive position through Monroe County Civil Service*
