Position Overview This opportunity is for physicians who want to practice independently while receiving structured operational support for the non‑clinical business functions of their own practice. Physicians own and operate the medical practice entity; MedCBO provides non‑clinical administration. Physician Responsibilities Provide care within the physician’s specialty scope Develop professional relationships within the medical community Determine clinical services offered Manage clinical quality and patient experience Maintain clinical autonomy and decision‑making authority Administrative Support Provided by MedCBO Practice formation coordination Revenue cycle management, coding, and payer contracting support EHR, technology platform, telehealth, and clinical workflow systems Credentialing, enrollment, and facility privileging coordination Accounting and financial reporting; financial infrastructure HR administration, staffing workflows, and compliance support Supply chain and vendor coordination Operational workflows and staffing systems Technology platform and implementation Requirements MD or DO with an unrestricted license in good standing in the intended state of practice Board Certified or Board Eligible in a specialty appropriate to the clinical services Eligible for hospital and/or facility privileges where applicable No current limitations, exclusions, or disciplinary restrictions that would prevent independent practice Ability to obtain professional liability coverage at standard market rates Interest in the independent practice model Preferred Desire for practice ownership Community‑based care interest Leadership or program development interest Location Multiple U.S. markets available (urban, suburban, and rural). Relocation and market selection are physician‑directed, subject to licensure. Compensation Compensation is generated by the physician‑owned practice.
