Role Overview: The Registrar provides essential clerical support by managing patient registration, insurance verification, financial assistance, and Point of Service Collections. Key responsibilities include accurate data entry, record keeping, and ensuring compliance with financial and confidentiality regulations to support seamless patient care and operational efficiency. Responsibilities Register and pre-register patients efficiently to minimize wait times. Obtain and verify complete patient information. Complete medical record requests per department guidelines. Document payer details, patient issues, and communication in the system. Ensure proper completion of registration forms and provide patient education on rights, advance directives, and financial assistance. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or GED. Clerical experience with excellent communication and computer skills. Typing speed of at least 30 wpm. Preferred: Experience with insurance authorization, medical terminology, EMR systems (Cerner), and BLS certification. Additional Details: The role requires flexibility to work a rotating schedule.
