Description JOB TYPE: PRN Position Summary The Medical Office Assistant - Call Center handles inbound and outbound calls. Their responsibility is to respond to incoming calls from patients to register and schedule patients for appointments at the Family Medicine Clinic. Key Result Areas (KRAs) Answer incoming calls from patients. Assist with scheduling patients. Serve as a resource and provide direction to patients. Complete call notes and call reports as necessary and update them in the EHR. Adhere to the policies and procedures of University Clinical Health. Perform other duties as assigned. Excellent telephone etiquette. Knowledge of medical terminology. Analytic skills to accomplish outreach calls and coordination/prioritization of tasks.
