Registered Nurse - ICU Day Shift

Location: Arcata, CA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Days: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, three 12-hour shifts weekly.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a critical care environment. This role requires strong clinical skills, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and a commitment to patient advocacy.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and lab results.
• Execute physician orders and perform necessary procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active California RN license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Proof of a negative TB screen within 12 months of the contract starting date.
