We are seeking a highly organized logistics coordinator / dispatcher to support daily operations, customer communication, and driver coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, managing multiple priorities, and working in a fast-paced logistics environment. Successful candidates will serve as a key link between customers, drivers, terminals, and internal operations teams to ensure freight moves safely, efficiently, and on schedule. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily load planning, scheduling, dispatching, and equipment tracking
• Resolve service failures and delivery exceptions
• Coordinate appointments with customers, terminals, and warehouses
• Track load status and provide customer updates
• Ensure timely completion of PODs and billing documentation
• Support drivers, process pay, and assist with performance and compliance
• Enter orders, communicate with customers, and track load costs
• Audit vendor invoices and support vendor coordination

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year transportation, dispatch, or logistics experience
• Experience with trucking and freight operations preferred
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks under deadline pressure
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Experience working with drivers and customers in a service environment
• Intermediate Excel skills preferred
