Instructs patients in varying programs appropriate to enhance performance and cultivate progress toward occupational therapy goals.Communicates with and educates patients and their families regarding plan of care, home equipment recommendations, considerations for additional rehab, discharge planning, home exercise program, self-administered treatments, and family assistance.Minimum QualificationsMust be a graduate from an occupational therapy assisting program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).Required: Associate's Degree.State of Michigan Occupational Therapist Assistant License or eligible to obtain licensure prior to hire date.American Heart Association BLS or equivalent.Our CommitmentRooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
