Job Description As a Security Officer Licensed Driver Patrol in Houston, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon11:00 PM - 07:00 AMTue03:00 PM - 11:00 PMFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSat03:00 PM - 11:00 PMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and sharing information with site contacts when needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe visitor and associate activity, and support loss prevention and other security-related efforts in accordance with site expectations. Assist with closing and opening routines, follow post orders, and communicate clearly with management, staff, and/or first responders during routine and emergency situations. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
