We have an exciting opportunity to join our team!The Housekeeping Coordinator serves as the administrative and communication hub of the Housekeeping Department. This position is responsible for coordinating room status updates, assigning daily housekeeping tasks, tracking work orders, maintaining department records, and ensuring effective communication between Housekeeping, Front Desk, Engineering, and other hotel departments. The Housekeeping Coordinator plays a key role in supporting efficient operations and ensuring guest rooms are prepared and available in a timely manner.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily housekeeping operations and maintain communication between Housekeeping, Front Desk, Engineering, and other departments.Monitor room status throughout the day and update systems to ensure accurate room availability.Assign room attendants, housepersons, and laundry attendants to daily work assignments.Track room inspections, out-of-order rooms, maintenance requests, and special cleaning projects.Enter and maintain housekeeping records, reports, and departmental documentation.Process and distribute lost and found items in accordance with company procedures.Maintain department logs, key control records, and inventory tracking documents.Respond to guest requests and communicate service needs to appropriate team members.Prepare daily productivity reports and occupancy information for department leadership.Assist with scheduling, attendance tracking, and payroll-related documentation.Coordinate VIP arrivals, special requests, and group room requirements with hotel departments.Create and distribute housekeeping communication boards, notices, and shift updates.Ensure work orders are submitted and followed up on with the Engineering Department.Monitor inventory levels of linens, guest supplies, cleaning chemicals, and operational supplies.Assist with onboarding, training coordination, and departmental recordkeeping.Maintain confidentiality of employee and guest information.Support housekeeping leadership with administrative projects and departmental initiatives.Promote a positive and professional work environment through effective communication and teamwork.Perform additional job duties as assigned.High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous hotel housekeeping, front office, or administrative experience preferred.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email systems, and hotel property management systems preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed. #J-18808-Ljbffr Coco Key Hotel & Water Resort
