Radiology Technologist

Operates radiology equipment and performs routine diagnostic procedures to assist in disease diagnosis and treatment, following established standards and physician prescriptions. Responsibilities Performs radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods as directed by a licensed physician. Exercises judgment in selecting and adjusting settings for each patient. Develops and implements procedure or treatment plans in accordance with hospital protocols. Completes documentation to ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Maintains equipment, procedure rooms, and work areas in a safe, clean, and organized condition. Participates in performance improvement activities, collecting quality data to monitor standards. Completes assigned goals and performs additional duties as needed. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of completion from a Radiology Technology Program or equivalent. Accredited radiography education, current ARRT(R) registration or pending certification. Strong understanding of radiologic principles, techniques, and positioning. Ability to follow written and oral instructions, plan, and organize work effectively. Licensure as required, including ARRT(R), BLS certification within 14 days of hire, and state licensing if applicable. #J-18808-Ljbffr Health Marketing
