HSE Advisor

Safety Management Systems

Job Summary:

The HSE Advisor position is responsible for providing health and safety support for Production Operations and Facilities Engineering & Construction projects in the Gulf of America.

Qualifications:

8+ years of relevant Health & Safety experience working in the Oil & Gas industry
Good knowledge of Gulf of America regulatory requirements (Preferred)
HSE auditing and contractor safety management skills
Experience with HSE programs and tracking HSE performance
Working knowledge of US safety regulations
Strong organization skills
Experience with Microsoft applications including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Teams
Strong communication skills and ability to interface with multiple teams across different disciplines
Presentation skills

Responsibilities:

-Support the HSE Leaders
-Manage scheduling for Offshore contractor HSE Advisors and assist with onboarding activities
-Provide HSE support for operations and projects such as incident reporting, investigations and case management, procedure interpretations and application, training for new initiatives

-Develop, implement and review HSE procedures and programs

-Conduct contractor audits and assessments

-Provide HSE expertise on FLHAs, PHAs, HAZOPs, MOCs, JHAs, JSAs

-Trending analysis for strengths and weaknesses within HSE practices

-Shut In Flyers & Safety Campaign Data

-New Campaign Assessments/Hazard Hunts/Safety Actions

-Provide support for HSE Training Fairs

Education and Experience:

-Bachelor's Degree in Health & Safety, Science, Engineering or other related field required.
-8+ years of relevant Health & Safety experience working in the Oil & Gas industry
