Description: This position involves working with digital radiography equipment including Philips, Agfa, Siemens, and Carestream machines. The C-Arm used is GE OEC. Travelers must have been separated for one year if previously a permanent staff member. Expected patient types include standard patients, inpatient, outpatient, and trauma level 2 emergencies. Charting is conducted using the Meditech EMR. Travelers will not float to different units first; however, rotation between sites may be required with a 15-minute driving distance. Weekend rotation is part of a two-week cycle, including every other weekend with a 12-hour shift rotation. Technicians will work a mandatory 4-day week followed by a 3-day week. Time off requests can be approved for up to 7 days, with restrictions on more than one weekend off during the contract period. Call is required for 3-4 days per month, with shifts being 12 hours. Expected holiday commitments include working 2-3 major holidays. Uniform scrubs should be pewter in color, and T-shirts need to be gray, white, or black with a specific monogram. Jackets should be either gray or black, and badges must be worn visibly above the waist at all times.
