Beach Club Supervisor Food and Beverage - Full time Summer Seasonal

Position Overview Promontory Club is seeking a Food and Beverage Beach Club Supervisor for the summer season (mid‑May to mid‑September). The role is full‑time seasonal with the opportunity for top performers to transition to a full‑time permanent position after the season. Responsibilities Ensure sanitation and cleanliness standards are met throughout the building, parking areas and the entire Beach Club compound. Conduct daily walk‑throughs to check the condition of tables, cabanas, canopies, furniture, etc., and notify the department head of any equipment needing service or repairs. Train service staff to present a professional image. Assist the Beach Club Manager in scheduling staff to maximize efficiency while meeting service and financial standards. Work active shifts daily and provide support to all staff. Oversee F&B product purchasing – food, beverages, dining supplies and retail items as needed. Maintain quality delivery and product standards. Secure inventories and maintain proper levels to minimize waste and working‑capital tie‑ups. Collaborate with the Beach Club Manager on concerns and future projects. Assist with monthly physical inventory counts. Participate in weekly purchasing of dining room supplies, food, and beverage products. Follow all safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, or unsafe work practices to management and complete safety training and certifications. Maintain Safety Data Sheet files and follow safe work practices. Perform any other duties assigned by the Beach Club Manager. Qualifications High School diploma or GED preferred. Must obtain a State of Utah Food Handler's Permit within two weeks of employment. Must have a recognized alcohol server training card from the Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (UDABC). Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages. Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a casual restaurant environment. Broad background in casual dining preferred. Basic computer skills and competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and POS software (Northstar). Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills. High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining professionalism. Ability to work various hours, nights, holidays, and weekends. Must be willing to stand on feet for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
