Clay's Climate Control/Envirosafe - HVAC Service Technician

Compensation: $26.00 to $34.00 per hour + bonus opportunities. Up to $6,000 Sign‑On Bonus for eligible candidates. What You’ll Do Diagnose HVAC issues (no heat, no AC, insufficient cooling, fan only, loud noises, leaks). Sell repairs and replacements of furnaces, boilers, condensers, package units, coils, humidifiers, water heaters, circulators, zone controls, heat pumps, air handlers, and related equipment. Assist in preparing and completing installations that you sold. Communicate clearly with customers, co‑workers, managers, and vendors. Maintain an orderly, clean, and fully stocked company truck, which you are provided to take home. What You Need To Succeed Minimum 5 years of experience in the HVAC trade. A positive attitude and willingness to treat customers with the utmost respect. A deep understanding of heating, AC, and IAQ equipment and HVAC system designs. Enthusiasm to learn and grow. The ability to treat your time in a client’s home as an invited guest. Ability to work late when the job requires it. Physical Requirements Physically able to work on HVAC units in extreme cold or heat. Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
