Job Description

The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The RN will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-focused care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and patient progress
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Utilize critical thinking to handle emergencies and changing patient conditions
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2-3 years of ICU experience
• Current Texas RN License (active)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Certification
