Opportunity Highlights

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch; overtime applies after 9-hour day. Hospital call is 1:4 weekly rotation (Friday 0730-Friday 0730), with rounding 1-2 hours daily Monday-Sunday and afternoon rounding 4:00-5:00 PM on weekdays. Provider may cover 2-3 weeks per month; facility may pair two locums.
• Job Setting: Outpatient and Inpatient
• Types of Cases: Full Hematology/Oncology (not solely medical oncology trained). Bone marrow biopsies required. Coverage of acute leukemic and inpatient chemo patients. Chemo clinic supervision of own patients. Clinic call includes add-on consults and supervising chemo patients for absent providers. Documentation required post-Autologous Stem Cell Transplant and post-CAR-T cell therapy. Radiation oncology services available at Marshfield location. Support from 3 MDs, 3 APPs, RN/MA, navigators, and infusion RNs.
• Credentialing: Estimated 60 days. Temporary privileges available.
• EMR: Cerner
• Call Details: Beeper call; 30-minute response time required; call ratio 1:4; approximately 5-10 phone consults; rarely called in.
• Start Date: ASAP

Minimum Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible: Board Certified or Board Eligible required; Fellowship required (3 years)
• Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS
• Licensure: Wisconsin license required; IMLC not accepted
