Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Title16 weeksResponsibilitiesIdentify patients' care requirements, focus on their needs and act on themNurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological supportResolve or report on patients' needs or problemsPrepare patients for examinations and perform routine diagnostic checks (monitor pulse, blood pressure and temperature, provide drugs and injections etc.)Monitor and record patient's condition and document provided care servicesTreat medical emergenciesAdminister workloadsFollow care regulations and standardsWork within and cooperate with a multidisciplinary teamRequirementsMinimum Education and Experience: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina; One (1) year nursing experience required. One (1) year psychiatric experience preferred. Necessary Required Training or Certification: Current CPR (American Heart Association) and CPI training/certification required. ACLS if required by facility. ACLS may be a requirement in facilities which operate a facility based medical unit.
