Key Responsibilities

• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic outcomes
• Safely operate and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Accurately document examinations and keep detailed patient records in the electronic medical system
• Remain updated on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education and Certification

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
