Location: Northern New Jersey

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 37.5 hours per week; every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday); winter holiday requirement: must work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's)

• EPIC charting system; typical patient ratios of 1:2
• Navy scrub pants with pediatric-themed tops required

Requirements:

• Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1.5 years of documented NICU Level III and PICU experience in employment history
• Current certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Proficiency in IV therapy including A-line management, central line/implanted line care, UAC/UVC, IV vasopressors, steroids, and surfactants
• Cardiac/respiratory skills: dysrhythmia interpretation/management, ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
• GI/Neuro competencies: feedings (bottle, breast, gavage), placement/management of oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal tubes, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome
• Willingness to float without exception to PICU, Pediatrics, and Newborn Nursery with appropriate patient assignments
