Database Engineer (Oracle)

Database Engineer (Oracle) Location: Fort Meade, MD vicinity (subject to change based on client needs). Security Clearance: TS/SCI with a Polygraph. Responsibilities Provide administrator and engineer support with a focus on data optimization. Work with large data sets, seeking Oracle efficiencies. Optimize an Oracle system to operate at peak performance and efficiency. Shape how massive and unusual data types are processed, stored and leveraged. Qualifications / Experience Minimum of five (5) to ten (10) years of experience as a Database Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required, or five (5) years of Database Engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
