Forklift Operator - Safety-Focused Material Handling Professional

Required Skills:

Proven experience operating forklifts safely and efficiently
Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one promptly
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and adherence to safety protocols
Ability to conduct equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical capability to handle heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with inventory management systems
Basic troubleshooting and minor repair skills for forklift equipment
Familiarity with various types of forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach trucks)
Previous experience in a high-volume production or distribution facility

Preferred Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum of 1 year experience in forklift operation or related warehouse roles

Other Requirements:

Compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Ability to perform daily pre-operation safety checks
Flexibility to work varying shifts if required
