Director of Social Services
Job Title: Director of Social Services (Preferred Korean Speaking)
Job Location: Los Angeles, California
Job Type: Full-time
Salaries: $35 - $40 HOURLY
As a Director of Social Services at Olympia Convalescent Hospital, you will plan, organize, develop, and direct overall operations of the Social Services Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This is a salaried position that requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in social work or a related field. A social work license/certification is required by state law.
Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, and implement social service programs for residents
Assist in the development, administering, and coordinating of department policies and procedures
Participate in discharge planning, development, and implementation of social care plans and resident assessments
Interview residents/families as necessary and in a private setting
Perform administrative requirements, such as completing necessary forms, reports, and submitting them to the Administrator as required
