Senior Civil Designer – Land Development
A well-established and growing civil engineering firm is seeking a Senior Civil Designer to support and lead land development projects from concept through construction. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team working on a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and municipal projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed site design plans including grading, drainage, stormwater management, and utility layouts
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to produce high-quality construction documents
- Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and project managers to ensure project accuracy and timelines
- Assist with permitting and approvals through local municipalities and agencies
- Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of land development design experience
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with site grading, stormwater management, and utility design
- Knowledge of local zoning and permitting processes
- Strong communication and organizational skills
