Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days & Weekends Hours Per Week: 40 hr./week

Hiring Range: $18.39 - $24.59/hr.

Below are the shift differentials based on eligible shifts worked:

• Weekday evening shift - additional 10%
• Weekday night shift - additional 15%
• Weekend day shift - additional 10%
• Weekend evening & night shifts - additional 21%

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, package, label, and distribute medications under the supervision of a pharmacist
• Refill and maintain automated dispensing cabinets, medication carts, and medication kits
• Deliver medications to nursing units and patient care areas in a timely manner
• Maintain and rotate medication inventory, including removal of expired products
• Prepack medications from bulk bottles into unit-dose packaging, ensuring accurate labeling
• Receive, verify, and stock pharmaceutical medications and supplies
• Prepares medication orders for the pharmacy department
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
• Identify and report medication discrepancies, errors, or safety concerns to the pharmacist in charge
• Certified technicians may be eligible to perform expanded duties based on qualifications
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required. Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacy Technician credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or,
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
