Seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a contract opportunity in a rehabilitation setting. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans, assist patients in improving mobility and functional independence, and support rehabilitation goals through evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

GUARANTEED HOURS & PAY

• Guaranteed Hours: 35 Hours Per Week
• Pay Rate: $39.00 - $45.50 per hour

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License in good standing
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in rehabilitation, skilled nursing, outpatient, home health, or acute care settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility techniques, and rehabilitation practices
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and positive clinical outcomes

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation activities
• Provide gait training, balance training, transfer training, and mobility interventions
• Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
• Support patients in achieving maximum functional independence and rehabilitation goals
• Adhere to all professional, regulatory, and facility standards

• Guaranteed 35 hours per week
• Competitive pay rate of $39.00 - $45.50 per hour
