About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years preferred License: Compact license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience: 5 - Community hospital experience preferred - Trauma level I & II experience preferred Description: This position requires working in the Emergency Room on night shifts. The role offers an option of 36 or 48 hours per week. First-time travelers are encouraged to apply. A minimum of two years of experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to commit to at least six weekend shifts within a six-week schedule. Mandatory certifications include BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS. The unit has an interdisciplinary support team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. A daily patient census of approximately 90 is managed by a team in a 40-bed capacity area. Travelers are expected to float to similar units as necessary. All required compliance measures must be met prior to starting. Modules are non-billable and completed during orientation.
