Lecture, hands-on skills lab and on-site clinical training at the local hospital and/or nursing home. Followed by a two-week mandatory LEAP program.Weeks 1-3: 32 hours per weekWeeks 4-5: 40 hours per weekWeek 6: 32 hours per weekWeeks 7-8 (LEAP): 24-36 hours per week**Post graduation you will be directly placed into a position to work a one-year commitment at one of our MaineHealth facilities. You will be working a minimum of 24-hours per week.
