What You'll Do Serve as the main point of contact for medication orders and pharmacy communicationsEnsure all clients receive their medications on time, tracking refills and addressing any delays.Obtain and document prescription information, including approvals, denials, and prior authorizations and notate on shift reports and in EMRFacilitate communication between the prescriber, pharmacy and the patientEnsure patient medication educational needs are met and documented by authorized personnelCollaborate with Utilization Review and billing departments to mitigate financial barriersWhat We're Looking For High School diploma or GED required Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferredIndustry-related experience preferredIf in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety requiredStrong interpersonal and multitasking skillsWarm, compassionate and empathetic personalityDignified character that models recovery principlesWhere You'll Work Avenues Recovery Center at Covington is a residential facility offering drug and alcohol detoxification and inpatient rehabilitation services.
