Responsibilities include:

• Provide direct 1:1 and small group special education instruction to students in grades 6-12.
• Tailor instructional strategies and lesson plans to meet each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
• Track and report student progress, maintaining comprehensive and up-to-date records.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to create cohesive education plans.
• Adapt classroom materials and utilize assistive technologies as necessary.
• Actively participate in IEP meetings and offer input on student progress and future goals.
• Stay current with best practices in special education, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Qualifications sought:

• Active New Hampshire teaching license in Special Education (SPED).
• Familiarity and experience with delivering instruction to students with varying learning needs.
• Strong commitment to fostering an inclusive, encouraging learning environment.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Minimum of 20 hours per week availability during the school year.
