Position Overview:  Savannah On Wheels is seeking a part-time Bicycle Ninja to join our team in Savannah, Georgia. If you like bikes and know how to, or want to learn how to fix them, we want you to join our team! We're looking for someone who can provide exceptional service to our customers and wants to be in the business of helping people make memories. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform accurate and thorough bicycle assembly according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
• Execute efficient and effective repairs, including fixing flat tires, adjusting brakes and gears, and replacing worn-out parts.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing knowledgeable assistance and advice.
• Listen to customers' concerns, gather information about their cycling needs, and recommend appropriate services or upgrades.
• Educate customers on bicycle maintenance and best practices to enhance their riding experience.
• Collaborate with fellow team members to share knowledge, solve complex problems, and ensure seamless workflow in the shop.
• Contribute to maintaining a positive and productive team environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in bicycle mechanics is preferred.
• We are willing to train the right candidate but proven experience as a Bicycle Technician with a strong understanding of various bicycle types, components, and technologies is preferred.
• Proficiency in using specialized bicycle tools and equipment preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of quality.
• Physical ability to lift heavy bicycles and equipment, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.
• Knowledge of local cycling routes, trails, and events is a plus.
