Telehealth Registered Dietitian Position
RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is looking for a Telehealth Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) to join our team. You'll provide virtual weight management and lifestyle counseling, backed by our supportive team, so you can focus on top-notch client care. Overview: 100% remote role, perfect for experienced dietitians with busy schedules who want to make a real difference. Hours: 20-32 hours per week, 100% remote via telehealth. Flexibility: Enjoy a flexible work-from-home schedule. Hours are flexible based on dietitians availability. Pay: Competitive hourly rate of $30-$36/hour depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT), with a focus on weight management, to help clients achieve lasting weight loss.
- Conduct virtual consultations to assess nutritional needs and create personalized weight management plans.
- Educate clients on sustainable weight management, behavior change, and lifestyle improvements.
- Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as needed for successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers for comprehensive client care.
- Maintain accurate client records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Perform other tasks as assigned and within scope of practice as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited program.
- Registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- At least 2 years of experience in outpatient or weight management settings.
- Strong grasp of evidence-based weight management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.
- Experience in telehealth or virtual client management.
- Specialized certifications in weight management, behavior change, or related fields are preferred.
- Familiarity with motivational interviewing and other behavior change techniques.
