POSITION SUMMARY Responsible for providing personal assistance services to the client in order to maintain safety in the client’s home. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform personal assistance services for clients as dictated by client needs/preferences, examples of which include: Assist in personal care such as lifting, turning, dressing, walking, bathing, changing and using the restroom Clean all areas used by client including sweeping, dusting, dishwashing, linen changing and laundry Prepare and administer client meals according to the client’s dietary needs and wants Errand running for the client, such as deliver bill payments, mail letters and grocery shopping Transport client in the client’s automobile with proper release form and proof of insurance Other responsibilities include: Report any and all violations of client’s rights Respect the client’s personal property and report any damage, destruction or removal Complete and submit all documentation as designated in a timely manner. Maintain client confidentiality at all times Maintain professional relationships with the clients Communicate with immediate supervisor of changes in schedule or issues affecting ability to perform assigned duties We provide continuing education and room for advancement for all staff. We offer a training program that will allow you to advance in your position. To qualify, you must have at least one year experience in a variety of senior care settings as a Caregiver or a CNA. We conduct background checks on all qualified applicants and YOU MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE and vehicle insurance are required. You must have a CNA, PCA or HHA certificate. You must also possess a current CPR and TB screening.
