This role partners closely with Relationship Managers, Portfolio Managers, Product Partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure the bank delivers tailored financing, advisory, and capital markets solutions across a suite of products (lending, payments, liquidity, FX, DCM, derivatives, trade finance) while appropriately managing credit exposure.In this role, you will: Support Relationship Managers with portfolio strategy, client planning materials, and relationship development activitiesAssist in identifying client needs and coordinating delivery of banking, treasury, capital markets, and risk solutionsParticipate in prospecting, pipeline development, and preparation of marketing materialsSupport relationship growth by monitoring client financial performance, industry trends, and competitive activityContribute to preparing client pitches and materials for ongoing relationship discussionsPartner with Portfolio Managers to evaluate client credit needs, structure financing solutions, and assess risk profilesConduct financial analysis and industry/market research for existing and prospective clientsAssist in preparation of credit approval packages and materials supporting renewals, amendments, and new credit requestsEnsure client requests align with internal credit policies and risk frameworksSupport execution of transactions, including diligence coordination, preparation of materials, and engagement with internal partnersWork with internal groups (Portfolio Management, Credit, Legal, Treasury, Capital Markets, Loan Operations, Risk) to ensure seamless execution and client deliveryTrack and follow up on key deal milestones, deliverables, and closing requirementsEngage with clients to collect financial reporting, compliance certificates, and other required deliverablesAddress routine client inquiries, coordinate follow-up actions, and provide updates to Relationship ManagersMaintain strong communication with internal partners to ensure efficient, consistent client serviceSupport adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and audit expectationsMaintain high-quality documentation and ensure timely updates to internal systemsIdentify emerging risks within assigned relationships and escalate as appropriateRequired Qualifications:2+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications: 2+ years of relevant work experience in portfolio management CIB Portfolio Management experience, including experience with leveraged lendingExperience within credit underwriting and/or capital market underwritingStrong credit, accounting and technical skillsDemonstrated excellence in working effectively as an individual and as part of a teamStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyHigh level of initiative and accountabilityAbility to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environmentAbility to act with integrity, good character and exercise sound judgementJob Expectations: Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
