Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled  Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)to join our healthcare team. The CMA will play a critical role in supporting healthcare professionals, providing high-quality patient care, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This position requires a blend of clinical and administrative skills to assist in patient assessments, treatment procedures, and office management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care: Assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures, take patient vital signs, record medical histories, and prepare patients for treatments.
• Clinical Duties: Administer medications, perform basic laboratory tests, and handle specimen collection as needed. Assist in minor surgical procedures and ensure infection control practices are followed.
• Administrative Support: Schedule patient appointments, maintain accurate medical records, and process insurance paperwork. Manage patient communication, including answering calls and providing information.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care. Act as a liaison between patients and the medical team to provide clear communication.
• Medical Equipment: Ensure medical equipment is properly sterilized, maintained, and ready for use. Assist in inventory management for medical supplies.

Qualifications:

• Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care techniques
• Proficiency in medical software and electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused demeanor

Job Type: Full-time
